GPU-Z is to the graphics cards what CPU-Z is to the processors, I mean, a program capable of showing us all the features of our graphics cards, and it is one of the most useful tools for the overclockers. Its developers, TechPowerUp!, responsible for ATI Graphics Card's handling tool ATI Tool (now AMD), hope that GPU-Z will be the standard for validating overclocking results in graphic cards, the same way its brother has made it in the processor's field.

It isn't hard to imagine why a tool like GPU-Z came out, because the graphics cards market is moving on at giant steps and many times, still knowing what we're buying, we don't completely understand all the integrated features in our graphics card - which, in many cases, the makers are trying to hide from us. GPU-Z will resolve this situation in a simple and efficient way.

GPU-Z only works under Windows Systems. Windows 2000 / XP / Vista (both 32 and 64 bit versions) are supported. There is also a newer version downloadable from the developer's site.
